Webb-Waring is an antioxidant research center in Denver, Colorado and we are conducting a study that involves drawing blood from patients with Age-related Macular Degeneration (ARMD). We are looking for volunteers to participate in this research project.
Participation simply involves donating 40cc's of blood (1/10th the amount taken during a typical blood donation). With this blood we will be testing levels of various antioxidants and inflammatory factors that we believe are involved in the ARMD disease process.
The valuable information learned from this study will further explain the cause of the disease which we believe will lead to new treatment options. These treatment options are currently being investigated at Webb-Waring and will be tested in a clinical trial
