After a test, I was told by an ophthalmologist yesterday
that I have a Large Scar on my Macula , preventing me
from having central vision. He is sending me to a Retina
specialist. Has any one heard about Macular scaring ?
Is it the same as Macular Degeneration (I am just starting
to read/learn about MD).
Is there anything that can be done for this scaring.
Could it be removed ? The doctor said the Laser won't
help (he said the laser is helpful to stop the bleeding
, in my case the bleeding has stopped)
I am 74 years old and up to now my vision has been
fairly good (wearing glasses). I started to have
problems with one eye about 3 months ago.

Macular scarring; I have a question. Is that in anything like macular pucker? Can someone answer that for me. I would greatly apreciate it.
