Hi,
I was wondering if anyone here has juvenile MD and is between the ages of 17-30?
Also, I got to meet Andy Parr this weekend. Ge is a disabled ski team member who has Stargardts.
I have some interesting stories to tell about the US Disabled Ski Team but I need to know who is out there.
Yhanks

Dear Brent,
You can meet and communicate with other Stargardt's people through the MD Support email discussion group, MDList.
To learn about it, go to:
http://www.mdsupport.org/mdlist.htmlThere are more than 340 very nice folks there, and we would love to meet you.
Best regards,

Hi there,
It has been about 6 years since I was first diagnosed with Stargardt's and now I am about to go out into the workforce and I need to know about funding. Is there anyone who has had any experience with this sort of thing in the past?
thx

Serenity,
My daughter also has Stargardt's, she is at college taking Performing Arts. I see her struggling everyday and hope that one day they would find a cure. I think the agency that you need as you are now going into the workforce is called Access to Work, they can carry out a workstation assessment and advise your employers about what you need.
Please let me know how you get on.
Cindy
