Dear Friends,
For additional help and resources, we invite you to visit the MD Support site at www.mdsupport.org . Our Internet community includes MDForum (a message board) and MDList (our email discussion group), both of which can be found through the MD Support home page. You will also find a complete reference library, a bookstore, transcripts of discussions with doctors, a section on eye anatomy, a glossary of terms and definitions, eye tests, and photos of how MD people view the world.
MD Support also maintains the Internet's largest collection of working links relating to low vision, with over 1200 listings for information on eye diseases, service organizations, distributors of low vision aids, vision centers, agencies, and publishers of large-print reading materials and audio tapes.
As part of our worldwide outreach program, the entire web site is available in large-print book form for people who do not have Internet access.
Until a cure is found, information and human support are the two most effective ways to deal with this disease. The work of MD Support benefits over 100,000 people each year, and I hope we can help you, too. Please visit soon.
Best regards,
Dan Roberts, Director
MD Support, Inc.

I would like to obtain any information on MD condition which the MD states as "retinal pigment epithelial detachment with pigment lumping". I've lost most of my center sight in the left eye and have recently noticed several spots in the right eye. I live in Natchez, Mississippi and the local ophthalmologist does not seem interested in my condition. Any information would be appreciated.
