How is AMD affected by eye colour?Are blue eyed people more likely to develop it and why?
Are there any books or articles that you know of that disscuss the topic of eye color related to ARM?

My uncle had blue eyes and good site. My mother and 2 aunts have dark eyes and amd. So, in my family that doesn't work Mary

Those with light colored eyes are at greater risk of developing Macular Degeneration, however anyone can get AMD from not having adequate eye protection while in the sun. Risks are increased if they are female, are obese, or smoke. ZeaVision has a very informative website if you'd like to learn more.
