My mom has MD and we have been searching for a high power magnifying glass for her to use for her reading. Is there any website that I can purchase a magnifying glass?

To those who are looking for a convenient, affordable magnifier, check our product, the Macular Miracle Vision Enhancer, at www.macularmiracle.com. It features a scratch-resistant optical lens (not a telescope!) that clips to your glasses and adjusts in or out (via a patented adjustment arm) to conform to your particular needs. It's perfect for reading, sewing, playing cards, crossword puzzles, and many more activities requiring close up viewing.

Regarding the elderly driver with MS. I have been driving and working with wet MS in one eye and one good eye since 1998. However, if your father's doctor feels he should not drive, he can alert the drivers license bureau. Therefore, your father could be arrested if he drives. This should put the fear of God in him.

My mother-in-law has the wet form of MD. Yesterday I saw on the news that a doctor at Baylor Univ. inserted a tiny telescope right into a woman's eye and now she can see again. Does anyone have any information on this? I can't find anything at Baylor Univ.
