The New York Times today ran an article on Marla Runyan. She's on the US Olympic Team going to Sydney this year even though she is legally blind. She is 31 years old and she has Stargardt's Disease, which is alos known as juvenile macular degeneration. Everyone reading this message should admire your pluck and wish her well in Sydney, Australia this September!
