Hello I am trying to find some help on getting my daughter some new lens for her glasses.
My daughter had cataract surgery {or removal of her lens}at VMC she has glasses and contacts but every 6 months they have to be changed until recently my insurance covered these procedures but now the insurance is fighting over if this is medical need.
The surgery and everything was approved two years ago, now they are saying it was not.
All I know is that I have a six year old daughter that cannot see a thing without her glasses or contacts, and school starts in two weeks.
I have tried to talk to Vanderbilt Medical Center and also my insurance and I am not getting help or the run around.
Please if you know of any one that can help me at all please refer me.
I have some frames she has about five pair of glasses and a pair of contacts but the doctor just changed the prescription again. All I am asking for is some help with the lenses she can wear the same frames {if you can help with two pair I will be so thankful.
I am a single mother with only one income and desperately need some help.
Her doctor is doctor Sinatra at Vanderbilt Medical Center in Nashville Tenn. Please feel free to check with the doctor about My daughter's Medical situation.
My daughter's Name is Juakerra Davis and she is six years old in the 1ST Grade.
